A celebration of growth, creativity, curiosity and hard work by students, faculty and staff will be on display at the 2024 Student Research and Creativity Exposition, featuring a hefty increase in the number of presentations, on Thursday, May 2, from noon to 6 p.m.
The next in the series of events hosted by OSCAR called the “Curious and Creative Conversations Series” is slated for Wednesday, April 3, at 10 a.m.
A unique look into very specific topics within accounting, geology and psychology will be presented by faculty in the third part of the “Curious and Creative Conversation” series.
Three faculty in widely diverse academic fields will give brief presentations from their respective disciplines in the second installment of the “Curious and Creative Conversation” series on March 6.
“Curious and Creative Conversations,” a new series that showcases research conducted by faculty, will be held in the Reed Library Garden Area on designated Wednesdays during February, March and April.
“What can student-faculty collaborations do for me?” – a mash-up event conducted jointly by the Office of Student Creativity and Research (OSCAR) and the Professional Development Center – will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 12:30 to 2 p.m., on the main floor of Reed Library.
The Office of Student Creative Activity and Research (OSCAR) will host an open house on Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Wednesday, Sept. 20, 3 to 6 p.m., to introduce students, faculty and staff to OSCAR’s new physical space in Reed Library.
The 25th Student Research and Creativity Exposition will be held Thursday, May 4, in the Williams Center. The event highlights student research, completed under the tutelage of a faculty member, and culminates in a presentation of the research or creative work at the exposition.
Nineteen SUNY Fredonia students authored or coauthored 13 different presentations at the SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference held at SUNY Buffalo State College on April 23.
The Student Research and Creativity Exposition will return to an in-person format when the annual showcase of student presentations, research papers and other projects will be held in the Williams Center on May 5.
