Term Break Shuttle Bus to Airport & Depew Amtrak
Supplemental Shuttle Service to Buffalo (Spring 2024)
In view of the ongoing service reductions at Coash USA, Fredonia has engaged the company we use for term break shuttle service to operate some additional shuttles for the end of spring semester, of this semester.
Executive Transportation Service of WNY will run one bus on Saturday, May 11 and one bus each morning of finals week, starting on Wed., May 15. Buses will leave campus at 9 a.m. sharp and will take about one hour to the first destination listed.
Using an allocation from the student transportation fee, we are offering this service at $25 per trip. Although this is more than the Coach USA price, it is a discount of almost 30% off our normal shuttle service price. Please note that tickets must be purchased at the Campus Ticket Office at least 48 hours in advance of departure and that these tickets are non-refundable. The ticket office is open M-W-F from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please plan ahead.

As with our regular term break shuttle service, passengers are limited to one piece of luggage plus one personal item such as a purse or backpack.

Tickets for the shuttle service to the Buffalo Airport and the Depew Amtrak station will go on sale on Wednesday, September 13. The one-way fare this year is $35.00 (no discount for round trip.) Sales will close 72 hours (three days) before each departure. Please note the Campus Ticket Office is only open on M-W-F from 9-3. The 2023-24 shuttle schedule appears below. The Airport/Amtrak shuttle is operated by Executive Transportation Services of WNY/Giorgio's Limousine (a local transportation company), which is subcontracted by the Fredonia Campus to shuttle students to and from the Buffalo Airport and the Depew Amtrak Station. This shuttle travels around all class breaks including Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break and Spring Break. Students should look for a small black bus, multi-passenger van or large SUV (size of vehicle depends on how many students are riding at the same time). The driver has a list of all passengers and passengers' phone numbers.
To order shuttle tickets, please call (716-673-3501) or stop by the Fredonia Campus Ticket Office during our open hours. We are open M-W-F from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The shuttle cost for the 2023-24 academic year is $35 for the one-way fare to/from Buffalo Airport or Depew Amtrak station. Seating is limited. Reservations and payment must be received at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance of departure time. All tickets have the Executive Transportation Services of WNY/Giorgio's Limousine dispatch number (716-683-7455) printed on them. Ticket buyers should provide the Fredonia Campus Ticket Office with each passenger’s cell phone number at the time of purchase.
PLEASE NOTE: RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED; if there are no advanced reservations placed for a particular run, the Airport/Amtrak Shuttle WILL NOT TRAVEL. Passengers are limited to one piece of luggage plus one personal item such as a purse or backpack.
All airport return-trip pick-ups are at the "Limo" parking lot just beyond baggage claim number 4 on the lower level. See illustration below.
All train station pick-ups are at the Depew terminal. Shuttle OUT times are from the Williams Center bus stop on the Fredonia Campus. Please allow approximately one hour to reach the Depew Amtrak station and another 15 minutes to get to the airport. Shuttle RETURN times are from the Buffalo Airport, with the shuttle then going to the Depew Amtrak station and departing from there about 30 minutes later.
Shuttles may be black buses, multi-passenger vans or SUVs. Again, they are operated by Executive Transportation Services of Western New York / Giorgio's Limousine, telephone: 716-683-7455. PLEASE NOTE – there are two Amtrak stations in Buffalo. This shuttle travels to the DEPEW station (55 Dick Rd, Depew, NY 14043). If you need transportation to or from the EXCHANGE ST. Station in downtown Buffalo, please contact the Fredonia Campus Ticket Office for options. The Exchange St. station is about a 10-minute walk from the downtown Metroplitan Transportation Center of Bufflao. Coach USA Bus Service is available between the Metro Transportation Center and Fredonia.
