Professor of English Aimee Nezhukumatathil served as a headliner for the 2014 Massachusetts Student Day of Poetry held on March 21 at the University of Massachusetts-Boston.

More than 1,000 high school students and teachers attended the day-long poetry field trip that featured performances and creative writing-generative workshops for teens by celebrated local and national poets.

Professor Nezhukumatathil will also participate in the Earth Day Teach-in on April 22 at the College Lodge and, this summer, the Minnesota Northwoods Writing Conference and poetry workshops at Chautauqua Institution.
