Zoom talk today to explore Jurassic invertebrates

Dr. Mateo Monferran, a researcher with the National Scientific and Technical Research Council currently engaging in investigative work with Department of Geology and Environmental Sciences Assistant Professor Thomas Hegna, will present a Zoom seminar, “Jurassic Continental Invertebrates: The Records from Argentina,” on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 1 p.m.

The talk can be accessed online.

Jurassic arthropod fossils and phylogeny of several crustaceans are the focus of Dr. Monferran’s research with Dr. Hegna.

Monferran is a professor who specializes in paleontology at the National University of the Northeast (Universidid Nacional del Nordeste), located in Corrientes, Argentina.
