Opalski to speak on humanitarian aid for migrants

Cheryl Opalski is coming to campus April 13 and 14 to discuss her work with Ajo Samaritans.

A small volunteer organization, Ajo Samaritans provides humanitarian aid for migrants along the Arizona/Mexican border.

Ms. Opalski will be visiting classes and giving a public lecture on Thursday, April 13 at 7 p.m., in McEwen Hall Room 202. Refreshments will be served. The event will also be presented online via Zoom.  

The event is sponsored by the Carnahan Jackson Fund for the Humanities of the Fredonia College Foundation, and the Department of English.
