Native American Heritage Month observed in November

In conjunction with the Native American Student Union, several events are planned on campus to celebrate Native American Heritage Month.

In addition to an opening event held Nov. 1, the remainder of the month’s activities include:

  • Thursday, Nov. 9 – Six Nations Creation Story Video Viewing and Q&A at 6 p.m. in Diers Hall (Mason Hall)
  • Tuesday, Nov. 14 – Day of Traditional Indigenous Foods in the Cranston Marche
  • Wednesday, Nov. 15 – a Dreamcatcher Workshop at 6 p.m. in Williams Center Rom S204DE
  • Wednesday, Nov. 29 – the closing event of the month with Hoops of Hope and Resiliency, hoop dancers featuring lead dancer Darice Sampson at 6:30 p.m. in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room
