Kovac named ‘RA of the Month’ for November

Kassidy Kovac, a fifth semester Resident Assistant in Alumni Hall, was named RA of the Month for November 2023 by the Office of Residence Life.

Ms. Kovac, of Middleburgh, NY, is a Psychology major and has a minor in Sociology. She is the social chair of the Resident Assistant Advisory Board (RAAB) and is part of the Transfer Student Organization (TSO). She is also involved with several groups focused on improving the student experience on campus.

When asked about her favorite thing(s) about SUNY Fredonia, Kovac replied, “My favorite thing about Fredonia is the people I have been able to meet through my classes, through my job, and at campus events. I also cherish the opportunity to engage and connect with my professors. Lastly, I love building connections with my residents.”

When asked about future goals, Kovac said, “Having graduated in December, this spring I will begin working on my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling here at Fredonia. I am looking forward to embarking on this new journey as a graduate student Resident Assistant in Alumni Hall.”

Kovac was nominated for the award by Alumni Hall Residence Director Kayla Makosiej.
