Gatto appointed to lead international efforts

Jessica Gatto has been appointed Associate Director of Global Citizenship at SUNY Fredonia, effective Aug. 1.

Ms. Gatto has been a member of Fredonia’s Admissions Office since 2007, serving as  an Admissions Counselor and Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions. During that time, she worked extensively with international degree-seeking students and diverse educational partners.

Erin Mroczka, interim associate vice president for Retention and Academic Success, noted that Gatto has successfully represented Fredonia overseas on several international recruitment visits. Ms. Mroczka added that her expertise in assisting students with navigating visa requirements, knowledge of SUNY's international travel processes, and genuine passion for global engagement will be of tremendous benefit in re-engaging Fredonia’s study abroad programs.
