Can you help Special Collections and Archives identify people in old photographs?

Reed Library's Special Collections and Archives area is looking for assistance in identifying people found in its collections of faculty, staff, and administration photographs for its new Familiar Faces Project.

“We have developed an interactive gallery-style website to enable alumni, emeritus faculty and other members of the Big Blue Family to help fill in the gaps for us,” said Amanda Shepp, coordinator of  Special Collections and Archives.

Those able to help identify people can clink on the online link.

The link can also be shared with others who may be able to help Special Collections and Archives assign names to the faces.

The photograph project, put together by Library Clerk Pat Cummings-Witter, can be found on the Special Collections and Archives website and represents a fraction of the number of photos in its collections, as the project consists of only faces yet to be identified.
